Greetings,
My name is Joe. I have been a professional Tattooer for almost 20 years. I prefer to do bold, dynamic tattooing that moves with the body. Recently this has manifested as more ornamental pieces but I enjoy realism as well.
After taking several art classes in college I began my tattoo apprenticeship in Northern California. Since becoming a Tattooer I have traveled doing guest spots and conventions throughout the west coast. In 2014 I attended a classical Realism Atelier In Berkeley, California. That experience furthered my art education and began my love for oil painting. My family and I moved to the Pacific Northwest 8 years ago and I now own a private studio called Aeterna Tattoo in Spokane Washington.
Getting Tattooed by me is fairly simple, this is a view into how my tattooing/booking process works:
I tattoo one client per day. This is to ensure my full focus on the client experience and what the tattoo requires. I try to work efficiently, effectively, and safely during each aspect of the tattoo process in order to produce the best result possible. I start each project with a consultation, in which we go over your concept and see if in fact I am the right artist for you. Once a design has been agreed upon we set all necessary appointments to complete the tattoo and you leave a deposit to reserve the dates.
If you are booking a tattoo online through my booking link, then please fill out the appointment questionnaire in place of a consultation.
*I require a deposit before setting any appointments.
In between our consultation and tattoo appointment I mock up your design. Upon seeing the design for the first time I allow for minor changes if necessary. However, major design changes will require a reschedule and an additional deposit.
* I try to get all the pertinent information during the consultation to avoid any misunderstandings regarding your artwork to avoid this issue.
When you come into the studio I recommend that you wear appropriate clothing that can easily expose the body part being tattooed. Be prepared with snacks, tablets, headphones, or whatever else makes the procedure more comfortable. Be well rested and prepared for the procedure. I discourage bringing excess friends and family as my studio space isn’t huge.
After the procedure we discuss taking care of your tattoo properly. This is the most important aspect of this process. I encourage everyone to ask as many questions as possible in order to ensure that the aftercare instructions are well understood.
That’s it! I tried to keep it simple yet informative. Please do not hesitate to email me to ask any further questions.
Thank you so much for your interest in my work, I hope to hear from you about your next tattoo!
Joe.
